Acronyms

Every structure in the NeuroNames Brain Hierarchy has a unique abbreviation that is based on its standard English name. The abbreviation for a given structure is presented at the top of its Central Directory.

  1. Click 'Search by Name' in the green sidebar.

  2. In the search box, type amygdala, and click 'Submit Query'.
