septohypothalamic nucleus

The term septohypothalamic nucleus refers to a group of cells located between the lateral septal nucleus and the anterior commissure in the mouse ( Paxinos-2001 ). Some authors regard it as part of the lateral septal nucleus ( Swanson-1998 ).
