The term parietotemporo-occipitopontine tract represents a composite substructure of corticopontine fibers that includes parietopontine fibers, temporopontine fibers and occipitopontine fibers. It is not readily distinguished in myelin-stained histological cross-sections ( Roberts-1970 ).
