The term choroid plexus refers to the granular tissue that secretes cerebrospinal fluid into the ventricles of the brain. It includes the choroid plexus of the lateral ventricle, the choroid plexus of the third ventricle and the choroid plexus of the fourth ventricle ( Carpenter-1983 ).
