central part of the medial dorsal nucleus (MDNcn)

The term central part of the medial dorsal nucleus (MDNcn) refers to one of four parts of the medial dorsal nucleus (MDN) in the mouse ( Paxinos-2001 ) and the rat ( Swanson-1998 ). The others are the lateral part of the medial dorsal nucleus (MDNlt), the medial part of the medial dorsal nucleus (MDNmd) and the intermediodorsal nucleus.(MDNid).
