microcellular tegmental nucleus (MiTg)

The term microcellular tegmental nucleus refers to a group of cells that partially overlap the lateral lemniscus in the pontine tegmentum of the mouse ( Paxinos-2001 ). Some authors regard it to be part of the sagulum nucleus ( Swanson-1998 ).
