The term mediolateral area of the secondary visual cortex refers to a cytoarchitecturally defined area of the cerebral cortex in the mouse ( Paxinos-2001 ). It is located medial to the primary visual cortex and lateral to the mediomedial area of the secondary visual cortex. See also visual cortex (rodent).
