paragigantocellular reticular nucleus

The term paragigantocellular reticular nucleus refers to a combination of the lateral paragigantocellular nucleus and the dorsal paragigantocellular nucleus in the rat. Functionally it belongs to the reticular formation (functional) of the brainstem motor system ( Swanson-2004 ).
