piriform cortex of the limbic lobe (PIRllb)

The term piriform cortex of the limbic lobe (PIRllb) refers to one of two parts of the piriform cortex (PIR) in the human ( Mai-1997 ).. It is located at the rostral extreme of the anterior parahippocampal gyrus (PHGa). The other part is the piriform cortex of the frontal lobe (PIRflb). Final 20 Jan 2025.
