Gyrus fasciolaris (Amaral)

The term Gyrus fasciolaris (Amaral) refers to the more lateral of two subdivisions of the fasciolar gyrus. It is continuous with the CA3 field of the CA fields; the more medial subdivision is the Fasciola cinerea (Amaral), which is continuous with the dentate gyrus. ( Amaral-1990 ).
