Fasciola cinerea (Amaral)

The term Fasciola cinerea (Amaral) refers to the more medial of two subdivisions of the fasciolar gyrus. It is continuous with the dentate gyrus. The more lateral subdivision is the Gyrus fasciolaris (Amaral), which is continuous with the CA3 field of the CA fields ( Amaral-1990 ).
