The term Nucleus pulvinaris oromedialis (Hassler) refers to a composite substructure of the thalamus that includes parts of the lateral posterior nucleus and of the anterior pulvinar nucleus. It, the Nucleus pulvinaris orolateralis (Hassler), and the Nucleus pulvinaris oroventralis (Hassler) constitute the Nucleus pulvinaris oralis (Hassler) ( Jones-1990 ).
