The term olfactory entorhinal cortex (ENTolf) refers to a part of the entorhinal cortex (ENT) defined on the basis of connectivity and function. Located on the ventromesial surfaceof the limbic lobe (LLB), it is the rostral portion of ENT, which receives a projection from the main olfactory bulb (MOB). The projection is most evident in the rat and mouse. Much less so in the macaque, and even less in the human ( Price-1990 ). Final 25 Jan 2024.
