cerebral cortex. It occupies most of the
temporal lobe. It is composed of the
area 52 of Brodmann (human), the

area 42 of Brodmann (human), the area 22 of Brodmann (human), the area 21 of Brodmann (human), the area 20 of Brodmann (human), the
area 36 of Brodmann (human), the
area 37 of Brodmann (human) and the area 38 of Brodmann (human) (
