posterior spino-olivary tract

The term posterior spino-olivary tract refers to a bundle of fibers that originate at all levels of the spinal cord, ascend in the posterior white column of the spinal cord and terminate in the gracile nucleus and the cuneate nucleus of the medulla, which project in turn to parts of the inferior olivary complex ( Carpenter-1983 ). It consists of the posterior spino-olivary tract of the spinal cord and the posterior spino-olivary tract of the medulla.
