medial olfactory gyrus (MOG)

The term medial olfactory gyrus refers to the slight ridge on the ventral surface of the subcallosal gyrus formed by the root of the olfactory peduncle ( Morris-1907 ). It expands into and is continuous with the termination of the cingulate gyrus ( Riley-1943 ).
