Nucleus alaris-rotundus (A-Rtd)

The term Nucleus alaris-rotundus refers to a composite nucleus located rostromedially in the thalamus of the macaque. It consists of two nuclei identified in Olszewski-1952: Nucleus alaris (Olszewski) and Nucleus rotundus ( Ilinsky-2002 ).
