anterodorsal area of stria terminalis
The term
anterodorsal area of stria terminalis refers to a group of cells identified on the basis of cytoarchitecture in an early segmentation of
anterior nuclei of stria terminalis in the
rat. Subsequent connectional data led investigators to combine the anterodorsal, anteroventral, and dorsolateral areas of
stria terminalis into the
anteromedial area of stria terminalis (
Swanson-2004 ).
