caudal division of the reuniens nucleus

The term caudal division of the reuniens nucleus refers to one of two divisions of the reuniens nucleus in the thalamus of the rat ( Swanson-2004). The other is the rostral division of the reuniens nucleus. It consists of three parts: caudocaudal part of the reuniens nucleus, dorsocaudal part of the reuniens nucleus, and mediocaudal part of the reuniens nucleus.
