The term gyrus infralimbicus refers to a superficial feature of the anterior parahippocampal gyrus in the human ( Isausti-2012 ). The most caudal portion of the incus, its posterior border is approximately coincident with the posterior border of the entorhinal cortex and the anterior border of the lateral geniculate nucleus.
