main olfactory sensory neuron (OSNm)

The term main olfactory sensory neuron (OSNm) refers to one of two types of olfactory sensory neurons in the human ( Buck-2013 ), macaque ( Price-2004 ), rat ( Swanson-2004 ) and mouse ( Hof-2000 ).
