area TEa of Seltzer (TEa)

The term area TEa of Seltzer refers to one of five subdivisions of area TE of Seltzer in the macaque. Defined on the basis of cytomyeloarchitecture, it is located in the part of the middle temporal gyrus that forms the lower bank of the superior temporal sulcus ( Seltzer-1978 ).
