area PF of Bonin (PF)

The term area PF of Bonin refers to a subdivision of the parietal lobe of the macaque defined on the basis of cytoarchitecture. It is located anterior to area PG of Bonin. It is similar to area PG except that it is thinner and the cells of sublayer c of external pyramidal layer are larger ( Bonin-1947 ).
