The term allocortex (Stephan), or Allocortex (Stephan), refers to a subdivision of the telencephalon based on phylogeny, ontogeny and cytoarchitecture. It consists of three subdivisions: Allocortex bulbi olfactorii, Allocortex primitivus, and Periallocortex. It differs from allocortex only in that it includes the olfactory bulb and the accessory olfactory bulb which together constitute the Allocortex bulbi olfactorii. |
