cerebellar fissures


The term cerebellar fissures, or Fissurae cerebelli, refers to surface indentations of the cerebellum. They include the primary fissure of cerebellum, which separates the anterior lobe of cerebellum from the posterior lobe of cerebellum; the posterior superior fissure, the horizontal fissure and the prepyramidal fissure of the posterior lobe of cerebellum; and the posterolateral fissure, which separates the posterior lobe of cerebellum from the flocculonodular lobe.
