entopeduncular nucleus

The term entopeduncular nucleus, or Nucleus entopeduncularis, in human neuroanatomy refers to a portion of the nucleus of ansa lenticularis described variously as located medial to the posterior limb of internal capsule (Riley-43), along the course of the ansa lenticularis and the inferior thalamic peduncle (Crosby-62), or as a separate nucleus within the internal capsule adjacent to the medial globus pallidus (Nomina-83).
