The term entorhinal area 28, or Area entorhinalis 28, refers to a subdivision of the cytoarchitecturally defined hippocampal region of the cerebral cortex. It is located in the entorhinal area on the medial aspect of the temporal lobe. In the human it and the dorsal entorhinal area 34 (H) together constitute approximately the entorhinal area.
