granular layer of cerebellar cortex


The term granular layer of cerebellar cortex, or Stratum granulosum (cerebelli), is a cytoarchitectural term denoting the deepest cell layer in the cerebellar cortex. It consists of densely packed granule cells and the cell bodies of both large and small Golgi-type neurons.
