The term Nucleus centralis superior thalami refers to one of five subdivisions of the thalamus as defined in Olszewski-52. The others are the Nucleus centralis densocellularis, the Nucleus centralis inferior, the Nucleus centralis latocellularis, and the Nucleus centralis intermedialis. Together they constitute the central medial nucleus and the rhomboidal nucleus. |
