Nucleus intralamellaris (Hassler)


The term Nucleus intralamellaris (Hassler) refers to a composite substructure of the thalamus that includes the central lateral nucleus, the paracentral nucleus and a portion of the densocellular part of medial dorsal nucleus. It has four subdivisions: the Nucleus intralamellaris oralis (Hassler), the Nucleus intralamellaris ventralis (Hassler), the Nucleus intralamellaris interpolaris (Hassler), and the Nucleus intralamellaris caudalis (Hassler).
