The term tegmental gray of pons refers to a composite substructure of the pontine tegmentum that includes the motor nucleus of tegmentum, the superior central nucleus, the inferior central nucleus, the nucleus papilliformis, the nucleus subceruleus, the locus ceruleus, the lateroventral tegmental nucleus, the dorsal tegmental nucleus and the ventral tegmental nucleus.
