Neuroanatomical Terms
One finds information about a brain structure through its Central Directory.
Try it! Locate information about the nucleus of Bechterew. (It may be useful to print these instructions.)
- Click
in the control bar below.
- Click
in the sidebar. You will find a
comprehensive list of some 6500 structure names.
- You can search the list in three different ways.
- Scroll to nucleus of Bechterew using the scroll bar on the right.
- Click N from the alphabet at the top and then scroll to nucleus of Bechterew.
- Select "Find in Frame" (Netscape Navigator) or "Find (on This Page)" (Microsoft IE) from the Edit menu at the
top of your screen, enter part of a key word, e.g. Bech, and click Find.
Since nucleus of Bechterew is a synonym for the superior vestibular nucleus, the Central Directory for that structure will appear.
