area 10D of Paxinos (10D)

The term area 10D of Paxinos refers to one of three subdivisions of area 10 of Paxinos in the macaque ( Paxinos-2009a ). It is located on the dorsal surface of the superior frontal gyrus as it joins the straight gyrus at the frontal pole ( Carmichael-1994 ).The other subdivisions are area 10M of Paxinos and area 10p of the macaque, which the authors name '10V'.
