dorsal paramedian reticular nucleus (DPRt)

The term dorsal paramedian reticular nucleus refers to one of three cell groups comprising the paramedian reticular nuclei in the medullary reticular formation of the human. The others are the accessory paramedian reticular nucleus and the ventral paramedian reticular nucleus ( Carpenter-1983 ).
