refers to hierarchical model of the auditory region of Pandya located in the superior temporal gyrus as defined on the basis of cytomyeloarchitecture in the rhesus macaque ( Pandya-1973 ). This model consists of two components, the core of the auditory region and the belt of the auditory region which are subdivided into 14 areas.
