The term cerebral hemisphere refers to a composite structure of the endbrain. Left and right cerebral hemispheres are separated by the longitudinal fissure. Each hemisphere is composed of cerebral cortex, cerebral white matter and basal ganglia ( Carpenter-1983 ).
