spinotectal tract
Acronym:
The term spinotectal tract refers to a bundle of nerve fibers in the lateral white column of the spinal cord, most of which ascend contralaterally to terminate in the superior colliculus and the inferior colliculus ( Dorland-2004 ). This tract is composed of the spinotectal tract of the spinal cord, spinotectal tract of the medulla, spinotectal tract of the pons and the spinotectal tract of the tectum.
