A12 cell group
Acronym: A12
The term A12 cell group refers to a small group of cells fluorescent for dopamine in the arcuate nucleus of the hypothalamus in primates ( Felten-1983 ). In the rat a few cells belonging to this group are also seen in the anteroventral portion of the paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus ( Dahlstrom-1964 ).
