basal ganglia of Crosby
The term basal ganglia of Crosby refers to an alternate definition of the term "basal ganglia" based on proximity of nuclear masses in the endbrain. It includes the basal ganglia, the substantia innominata and the Nucleus subputaminalis ( Crosby-1962 ). A discussion of differences in use of the term "basal ganglia" is presented in Anthoney-1994.
