The term tenia choroidea refers to a surface feature of the floor of the body of the lateral ventricle in the human. Defined on the basis of dissection it is the line of attachment of the tela choroidea of the lateral ventricle to the dorsal surface of the thalamus. "It extends from the interventricular foramen diagonally across the thalamus to its ventrolateral border and then along the stria terminalis to the region of the amygdala" ( Crosby-1962 ).
