Nucleus pulvinaris oralis (Hassler)

The term Nucleus pulvinaris oralis (Hassler) refers to a composite substructure of the thalamus that includes most of the lateral posterior nucleus and dorsal parts of the anterior pulvinar nucleus. It has three subdivisions: the Nucleus pulvinaris orolateralis (Hassler), the Nucleus pulvinaris oromedialis (Hassler), and the Nucleus pulvinaris oroventralis (Hassler) ( Jones-1990 ).
