Onuf's nucleus
Acronym:
The term Onuf's nucleus refers to a group of small neurons located in the anterior gray column of the spinal cord at the level of the second sacral vertebra of the rat ( Stedman's-2006; Swanson-2004 ). Functionally it belongs to the somatic motoneuron pools of the subcortical motor system ( Swanson-2004 ).
