Acronym: LO1
The term area LO1 refers to a cortical structure located on the lateral surface of the cerebral hemisphere at the junction of the occipital lobe and temporal lobe, between early visual cortex and the MT+ complex of the human. Defined by multiple criteria, it is a part of MT+ neighbors. Other authors have referred to the same topological area as LO2 or hOC4la ( Glasser-2016 ).
