area PH
Acronym: PH
The term area PH refers to a cortical structure located on the lateral surface of the cerebral hemisphere at the junction of the occipital lobe and temporal lobe, between vental stream visual cortex and the MT+ complex of the human. Defined by multiple criteria, it is a part of MT+ neighbors. Compared to adjacent areas, it is fMRI activated in TOOL and RELATIONAL tasks and deactivated in a FACE task ( Glasser-2016 ).
