The term cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) refers to the water-like fluid that surrounds and supports the central nervous system (CNS) internally. An essential component of the supporting structures of the brain (BRN) and spinal cord (SPC), it is located primarily in the arachnoid (arac) of the meninges (men), the cerebral ventricles and the central canal (ccn) of the medulla (MDL) and SPC ( Swanson-2015 ).
     ---- through the choroid plexus (cplx) in ventricles of the forebrain (FBR)
     ---- through the subacrachnoid space surrounding the brain and
      ____ ----back to the bloodstream through arachnoid granulations (agrn)
     ---- through the spinal cistern (cissp) surrounding the spinal cord (SPC) and
      ---- back to the blood stream through the central canal of the spinal cord (ccsp).
