area TE2 of Seltzer
Acronym: TE2
The term area TE2 of Seltzer refers to the second most rostral and ventral of five subdivisions of area TE of Seltzer in the macaque. Defined on the basis of cytomyeloarchitecture, it is located in the temporal lobe below the superior temporal sulcus just caudal to area TE1 of Seltzer ( Seltzer-1978 ).
