area 22a beta of Vogts
Acronym: 22a beta
The term area 22a beta of Vogts refers to one of three parts of area 22a of Vogts defined on the basis of cytoarchitecture and myeloarchitecture in the guenon. It differs from area 22a alpha of Vogts in that layer III is wider; it differs from area 22a gamma of Vogts in that layer III is wider and layer IV is wider and more cellular than in area 22a gamma ( Vogts-1919 ).
