The Hypothalamus of the Rhesus Monkey: A Cytoarchitectonic Atlas

Bleier R, Siggelkow I
University of Wisconsin Press, 1984.

This atlas provides an original, detailed cytoarchitectonic analysis of the hypothalamus of the rhesus monkey using series of sections from brains cut in coronal, sagittal and horizontal planes. The nomenclature is that used by the authors in previous cytoarchitectonic analyses of the hypothalamus of other species. They provide detailed descriptions of the structure and distribution of cells in hypothalamic nuclei and areas.
