anterior white column
Acronym:
The term anterior white column refers to the large bundle of fibers located between the anterior median fissure of the spinal cord and the anterolateral sulcus of the spinal cord. It contains several prominent tracts including the anterior intersegmental tract, the medial longitudinal fasciculus of the spinal cord, the anterior spinothalamic tract of the spinal cord and the lateral vestibulospinal tract of the spinal cord ( Carpenter-1983 ).
