The term uncinate fasciculus of the forebrain refers to a pathway in the cerebral white matter that connects anterior portions of the temporal lobe with the inferior frontal gyrus and the middle frontal gyrus. It is not readily distinguished in myelin-stained cross-sections ( Carpenter-1983 ).
